Former NASCAR Cup Series driver Greg Biffle was involved in a wreck with fellow driver Boris Said. The incident happened during the last lap of the 2011 Watkins Glen International race. Later, Biffle went to confront Said, but things went south, leading to a heated argument.

The 55-year-old driver was two laps down on Boris Said and drove aggressively while flipping Said off. Following that, Said believed the former Cup Series driver had no reason to be antagonistic towards him. Later, on the final lap of the race, the former Phoenix Racing driver was involved in a terrifying crash, along with David Ragan and David Reutimann.

Despite getting involved in a massive crash, Boris Said was more concerned about Greg Biffle's attitude towards him. Later, Said told ESPEN reporter Ryan McGee (via SBNation):

"I’m more upset with Greg Biffle. He’s the most unprofessional little scaredy-cat I’ve ever seen in my life. He won’t even fight me like a man. If someone texts me his address, I’ll go see him Wednesday at his house and show him what he really needs. He needs a friggin’ whooping, and I’m going to give it to him. He was flipping me off, giving me the finger, totally unprofessional. Two laps down, I mean, he’s a chump."

Boris Said claimed that he would not confront Biffle on the racetrack, as it would be unprofessional. But he would meet him somewhere else and give him a "black eye." He added.

"I went over there to go talk to him, and he wouldn’t even let me get out of the car. Throws a few little baby punches, and then he runs away and hides behind some big guys. But he won’t hide from me for long. I’ll find him. I won’t settle it out on the track it’s not right to wreck cars but he’ll show up with a black eye one of these days. I’ll see him somewhere."

The former NASCAR driver wrapped the Watkins Glen International race in P22, and Greg Biffle ended in P31. Meanwhile, Marcos Ambrose won the race, and Brad Keselowski emerged as the runner-up during the event.

“I should’ve left several times”: When Greg Biffle shared his thoughts about leaving Roush Racing

In March 2025, former Cup Series driver Greg Biffle appeared on the Dale Jr. Download podcast on YouTube. During the episode, he told Dale Earnhardt Jr. about his feelings on leaving Roush Racing while he still had the chance.

Biffle spent most of his Cup Series career with Jack Roush's team, driving the #16 Ford for the team. He logged 19 victories, 92 top fives, 175 top tens, and 13 pole positions in 504 starts. The Ford driver revealed he had a chance to secure the Cup Series championship title in 2005 and 2008 but finished second and third.

Following that, Greg Biffle claimed that if he had left Roush Racing, he would have won the Cup Series championship. Reflecting on that, he told Dale Earnhardt Jr.:

"I'll be perfectly honest with you; I should have left several times. I think I should have; later on, just didn't have the equipment. And I think I could have went somewhere else and won a lot of races and potentially a championship, but I was afraid. I was just nervous about making that change. You know, what's like switching teams? The other thing that was a big factor is I was really good friends with all of my sponsors, and I would have had to leave those people as well." [00:01]

Greg Biffle hinted that Jack Roush let the technology beat his team in the series. Despite his struggles, he clinched six top ten spots at the Daytona 500 and even secured a third-place finish twice in 2010 and 2012.
