Denny Hamlin’s fiancée shares a heartwarming photo of JGR star on his birthday

Jordan Fish shared her fiancé Denny Hamlin's picture with their son, as the Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) driver celebrated his 45th birthday on Tuesday, November 18.

JGR wished the 60-time NASCAR Cup winner with a throwback picture on X. Meanwhile, Fish shared a picture of Hamlin sporting a mustache and holding their youngest child, Jameson Drew Hamlin, in a story on Instagram. She wrote:

"Happy birthday pops!"

Hamlin and Fish welcomed Jameson Drew Hamlin in June this year. The long-time couple, who got engaged in early 2024, also has two elder daughters, Taylor James and Molly Gold.

Fish also shared a video of Hamlin at the gym and wrote:

"Eveyone wish whoever this stud is a Happy Birthday!!"

Hamlin fell short of a championship again this season. The No. 11 Toyota driver led most of the championship race at Phoenix (208 laps) and had seemed to finally take home the title after over 20 years in the series, but a late caution forced overtime and erased his lead.

Hamlin described feeling numb and shocked after finishing the season in second place overall. His fiancée also reflected on that in a post on Instagram.

"My heart and body physically ache for Denny and his entire team. Watching him put in countless hours, years and two decades worth of hard work and dedication for a sport he loves so incredibly much, just to fall short once again, is absolutely heart wrenching," Jordan Fish wrote.

Hamlin wanted the title for himself, his sick father, and the people who backed him. After Phoenix, he said that he spoke to his team and family and that he hated not winning it for them.

Denny Hamlin misses 'the perfect way to go out'

Denny Hamlin also spoke about the loss on the latest episode of his Actions Deterimental podcast earlier this week. He explained that he would have quit racing had he won the race, despite his contract with JGR running through 2027.

"I would've begged Joe [Gibbs] to let me quit had I won that race. It would have just been the perfect way for me to go out. But they're not ready for that yet. They have to have time to work on my succession plan," Denny Hamlin said. (35:10 onwards)

After Denny Hamlin finished behind 2025 NASCAR Cup champion Kyle Larson at Phoenix, many questioned the current playoff format. The JGR driver also said that the result hurt after 20 years chasing a championship and argued for a full-season points system to be back.
