Dana White revealed his NASCAR ties in a press conference ahead of UFC 322. He was seen sporting a Kaulig Racing T-shirt with a RAM logo.White is no stranger to NASCAR. The UFC president's Howler Head Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey sponsored Ross Chastain's No.1 Chevy back in 2022. Chastain ran a custom paint scheme in the Busch Light Clash at the Las Vegas Coliseum. The car was also stationed at the UFC headquarters in Las Vegas. This time around, White seemed to be involved in Kaulig's RAM Truck program. NASCAR reporter Adam Stern noted in an X post, writing:"@DanaWhite wore a @KauligRacing / @RamTrucks shirt last night during face-offs for tonight's #UFC322 @TheGarden . ➡️ White is expected to be part of the new NASCAR program from @Stellantis."Kaulig Racing is setting up a five-car Truck Series outfit with RAM. It's the only team working with two OEMs. The Cup Series counterpart runs Chevrolet.Notably, Kaulig has closed shop in the Xfinity Series to focus on the Truck and Cup Series programs. However, the team's president, Chris Rice, has noted that the exit is more like a pause, while an eventual return to Xfinity is on the cards as well.Kaulig Racing president clears the air on Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne's NASCAR returnKaulig Racing has confirmed three of its five drivers in the Truck Series. Brenden "Butterbean" Queen, Daniel Dye, and Justin Haley have been tapped to ride the RAM 1500 Trucks. With two spots remaining, rumors began swirling about one of them being an 'All-Star' entry. Former Truck Series champion Mike Skinner speculated that Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne were close to a deal on the same.Kaulig Racing president Chris Rice, however, put an end to those rumors and clarified his stance. In an interview with SiriusXM NASCAR radio, Rice said:"We do not have a contract with either one of those guys. Do we have conversation about those guys? Absolutely, do we have conversation about everybody that drove their Dodge car? Absolutely, guys so you can put in there every single person that's been in a Dodge car."We have two other trucks that we got to announce the drivers for, and when Ram is ready to announce those drivers, we'll do it. But as of right now, they do not have a contract with us."Stellantis is aiming to make a splash in the Truck Series, and Kaulig is its first partner in the effort. Niece Motorsports was previously rumored for an OEM switch with RAM, but the team categorically dismissed those claims. RAM, on its part, is set to revive the 5.7 litre HEMI V8 engine for its Truck Series effort.
