Eckes wrapped up his Xfinity campaign with six top fives and 15 top-10s, finishing 13th on points. In 2026, Eckes will be back at McAnally-Hilgemann as the driver of the No. 91 Chevy Silverado RST. NASCAR journalist Claire B Lang shared the news through X, stating:

“Christian Eckes is coming home in 2026. McAnally-Hilgemann Racing has announced that Eckes is returning to the organization to compete full time in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Trucks Series (NCTS) in 2026.”

Christian Eckes will be paired with championship-winning crew chief Dave Elenz. Of Eckes’ nine career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series wins, eight came with MHR. Team owner Bill McAnally thinks that Eckes and the No. 91 team have “unfinished business”.

“We’re excited to have Christian back,” McAnally said. “He certainly has his fingerprints on our program, and all of us were proud to see him in the Xfinity Series last year, but we have unfinished business.”

“Between him and Dave [Elenz], we’re putting a great team together to chase that championship. I’m excited to see them work together and see the impact it makes throughout our company,” he added.

Before joining the Xfinity Series with Kaulig Racing, Eckes bagged eight victories, 25 top-fives, and 35 top 10s driving MHR’s No. 19 Chevy Silverado RST through 2023 and 2024.

Well, Eckes is happy that he will get to stay within the Chevy camp.

“We had two great years here, and I enjoyed the races I ran this past year,” Christian Eckes said in a statement. “It's great to stay in a Chevrolet and have their commitment to MHR. Also, the relationships with NAPA, their suppliers, and ownerships made a lot of sense to come back here and chase a championship together."

Next up for Christian Eckes is the season-opening NCTS race scheduled for February 13, 2026, at the iconic Daytona International Speedway. Fans can watch the race on Fox Sports 1 or listen to radio updates on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
