It’s like a homecoming for SVG, who has spent several years racing in Australia under the Red Bull banner and won three Supercars Championships.

The globally recognized energy drink brand will continue its role as the primary sponsor while increasing its presence on Shane Van Gisbergen’s #97 Chevrolet for his second full-time season, starting with the second race at EchoPark Speedway (February 22).

Along with SVG, Red Bull will also sponsor Conno Zilisch in a combined 25 NASCAR Cup Series races throughout the 2026 season. Zilisch, who will make his full-time Cup debut, will adorn the Red Bull colors in the season-opening Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 15.

In the team release, expressing excitement about the #97 car’s Red Bull design, specifically the bold red accents, Van Gisbergen said:

“It means a lot to have the No. 97 on my Cup car. It’s a number that means so much to my family and me, so to see it on my car for the first time was surreal. I love the red flash designs on both sides of the car. It’s going to look epic on track.”

Shane van Gisbergen wrapped up his 2025 Rookie of the Year NASCAR Cup Series campaign with five wins, three poles, five top-5s, and seven top-10 finishes with an average finish of 21. He finished 12th in the NASCAR Cup Series championship standings.
