2025 saw multiple drivers take the top step at short tracks, while the winningest short track racer, Kyle Busch, failed to reach victory lane. Hamlin, notably, secured two short track podiums at Martinsville Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway.

That said, here are five active Cup drivers with the most short-track wins.

#5. Joey Logano - 5 wins

Joey Logano has two wins at Bristol and Richmond each, while Martinsville earned him a solitary victory. However, the Team Penske driver's best short track result this season comes from the All-Star race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, where he finished second after falling victim to the newly introduced promoter's caution.

#4. Kyle Larson - 6 wins

Kyle Larson reigns supreme at Bristol Motor Speedway with three wins at the 0.533-mile concrete. He had a dominant 411-lap lead to score back-to-back wins at the track.

The rest of his wins are recorded at Martinsville and Richmond, two tracks where he failed to reach victory lane this season.

#3. Brad Keselowski - 7 wins

Brad Keselowski matches Kyle Larson's win tally at Bristol Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway. However, he edges out the HMS driver with an additional win at Richmond Raceway.

He finished runner-up in the playoff race at Bristol, recording his fifth top-5 of the season, before matching the result at Phoenix Raceway.

#2. Denny Hamlin - 15 wins

Denny Hamlin has racked up four wins at Bristol, six wins at Martinsville, and an incredible five wins at Richmond Raceway. As the most experienced driver on the grid, Hamlin proved his short-track prowess this season, earning the checkered flag at Martinsville and finishing second in the spring Bristol race.

He had a mammoth 274-lap lead at Martinsville, but couldn't lead laps in the remaining short track races.

#1. Kyle Busch - 16 wins

Kyle Busch endured a second consecutive winless season this year. His last short track win came from a 2019 race at Bristol Motor Speedway, a track where he has eight wins to his name. With two other wins at Martinsville, Richmond remains his second-best short track with six wins.

This year, however, Kyle Busch couldn't grab a single top-10 finish in any of the short tracks. In an interview with Frontstretch back in March, the No.8 driver outlined the shortcomings of the Next Gen package at short tracks.

"The racing has definitely not gotten better with the Next Gen at short track. Why that is? I don't know. We tried different aero packages, we tried different tires. I think it's just the similarity in all the parts and pieces and everybody being the same," he said.

Kyle Busch's best result this year comes from a fifth-place finish at Phoenix Raceway and Circuit of The Americas.
