NASCAR Cup Series drivers for 23XI Racing, Tyler Reddick and Bubba Wallace, recently shared their non-negotiables for Thanksgiving this year. Reddick said he plans to smoke two turkeys, and Wallace made his case for dressing as the top dish.

Wallace, who won his biggest Cup career race at Indianapolis this year, also broke a long winless streak and made it to the playoffs for the first time in two years. Reddick ended the 2025 Cup season ninth in the playoff standings after failing to land any wins for the first time since 2021.

In a video posted on the team's Instagram page on Thursday, November 27, Reddick discussed his Thanksgiving non-negotiables and explained that due to his and his wife Alexa's preferences for cooking turkey, they might end up preparing two different ones.

"We'll see how it goes this year but I'm really dead set on doing a turkey on the smoker, smashcocked turns out really nice everytime I've done it that way. We may end up doing two turkeys even though we only really need one because my wife is also dead set, non negotiable, on doing it the traditional way in the oven," Tyler Reddick said.

Meanwhile, Wallace, the No. 23 Toyota driver for 23XI Racing, shared that his two simple non-negotiables were dressing instead of stuffing and putting up Christmas decorations after Thanksgiving.

"Non negotiables are Christmas lights up after Thanksgiving. It is dressing. Dressing is the top-side dish for Thanksgiving. That's my only two that I have," Bubba Wallace said.

Meanwhile, the antitrust trial between 23XI Racing and NASCAR is set to begin just after Thanksgiving, next week in December.

23XI Racing owners face long legal dispute with NASCAR

23XI Racing, co-owned by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan, and Bob Jenkins' Front Row Motorsports refused to sign NASCAR's new charter agreement in 2024 and lost their charter status earlier this year.

23XI has kept cars on track as open entries. They recently got a favorable ruling after a federal judge dismissed NASCAR's counterclaim against them. Legal teams from both sides filed their evidence just before the deadline, and NASCAR filed motions asking the court to exclude some 23XI owners from portions of the trial.

The federal trial is scheduled to open on the Monday after Thanksgiving (December 1). 23XI Racing named Jordan as the team's official corporate representative. That means he can sit in the courtroom and hear all the witness testimony.

The December trial could reshape NASCAR's charter system, while the dispute as a whole is expected to last for years. According to legal analysts, the case could drag on if a verdict sparks appeals.
