Team Orangutan became the first BGMI team to qualify for the PMGC 2025 by winning the BMSD 2025 (Battlegrounds Mobile Showdown) tournament a few weeks back. The Indian side demonstrated great resilience in the Gauntlet Stage of the Global Championship, but ultimately failed to directly qualify for the Grand Finals of the event, finishing 11th.
Team Orangutan will now feature in the Group Stage, where they have been placed in Group Green. While AKOP will try to continue his great form, Attanki, Aaru, and Wizzgod will look to improve and qualify for the Grand Finals by finishing in the top 3 in Group Green.
When will Team Orangutan start their PMGC 2025 Group Stage journey?
As mentioned, Team Orangutan has been placed in Group Green alongside 15 other teams. The Indian side will be in live action from today (November 28) until November 30, 2025.

They will play a total of 18 matches (six matches every day) on different maps. Here's a look at the match timings of Group Green:
- Match 1: Rondo - 4:30 pm IST
- Match 2: Erangel - 5:10 pm IST
- Match 3: Erangel - 6:00 pm IST
- Match 4: Erangel - 7:00 pm IST
- Match 5: Miramar - 7:40 pm IST
- Match 6: Miramar - 8:30 pm IST
In case Team Orangutan fails to make it to the top 3 in Group Green, they will head to the Last Stage (to be played on December 6 and 7). In this stage, they must finish in the top 2 to qualify for the Grand Finals of PMGC 2025.
Which is the other BGMI team to feature in PMGC 2025?
For those unaware, Team Orangutan is not the only BGMI side to represent India in PMGC 2025. True Rippers has also qualified for the Group Stages of the Global Championship and is placed in Group Red.
Jelly, Harsh, Hydro, and KioLmao will be in action from December 2, 2025. Their group's matches will be live until December 4, 2025. Like Orangutan, True Rippers will also have an opportunity to qualify for the Grand Finals from the Last Chance Stage (December 6 and 7) if they fail to directly qualify from the Group Stage.
All Indian fans will be rooting for both teams when they fight it out on the virtual battlegrounds of Erangel, Miramar, and Rondo.
