Telegram founder and billionaire Pavel Durov continued his streak of linking up with MMA legends.
The Russian-born tech entrepreneur made the news recently after teaming up with retired MMA star Khabib Nurmagomedov. ‘The Eagle’ was selling digital papakhas on Telegram, a move that was criticized by his bitter rival Conor McGregor.
Jon Jones also called up Durov on social media for some help. ‘Bones’ recently spent some time in Chechnya with Khamzat Chimaev, which caught the attention of his rival Daniel Cormier.
The former UFC two-division champion questioned why Jones was not celebrating Thanksgiving with his family. Jones joked that he wanted to give ‘DC’ one of the digital papakhas so that his foe could enjoy the holidays.

It seems Jones had quite a lot of fun in Chechnya. He was seen playfully wrestling Chimaev and also seems to have bought property in the Russian region.
Jon Jones sends warning to ‘bad guys’ after Chechnya visit
Jon Jones seemed pretty happy with his property buy in Chechnya. He bought a house in the capital of the region, Grozny. The complex also houses current UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev.
Jones posted a hilarious take on the pair becoming neighbors. He sent a warning out to ‘bad guys':
"It’s pretty exciting to be the second UFC fighter who is staying at this beautiful apartment complex along with Khamzat Chimaev. I chose a really great company! If you’re a bad guy, don’t come to this apartments, because me and Khamzat will beat you up."
The former UFC two-division champion is keen to fight at the White House card in June next year.
However, Dana White has not confirmed any fights for the grand event yet. The UFC CEO will play matchmaker in February, and Jones already has an opponent in his mind: Alex Pereira.
