'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 returns to action carrying the weight of universal admiration, but he's not content to rest on his laurels. The reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion has a tough test awaiting him when he steps inside the Circle at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri inside Tokyo's Ariake Arena on Sunday, November 16.He takes on Japanese standout and former K-1 champion Yuki Yoza, who's racked up two successive triumphs on the global stage against Elbrus Osmanov and Petchtanong Petchfergus. In an exclusive interview with ONE Championship ahead of his highly anticipated comeback, the Kiatmoo9 Gym athlete reflected on the overwhelming support he's received during his time away and the various sources of inspiration driving his return.Superlek said:"My return is fueled by inspiration from several sources, my overseas travels, my family, and the people who cheer for me. I've received encouragement everywhere I've gone. Some people even told me, 'You don't need to prove anything to anyone, you are already number one, you are a legend.'"The 29-year-old's words reveal a fighter who has reached legendary status but refuses to let accolades define the end of his journey.Despite holding victories over elite competition, including Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Takeru Segawa, and Nabil Anane, the Kiatmoo9 Gym product has faced setbacks, most recently being stunned by Anane at ONE 172 in Saitama this past March. That loss serves as motivation for 'The Kicking Machine' to prove he still belongs at the pinnacle of striking despite what fans and peers say about his already cemented legacy. Can Superlek overcome Yoza in Tokyo?
