It appears two of the greatest UFC fighters of all time, Jon Jones and Khabib Nurmagomedov, agree on one thing: MMA is a young man's sport. Earlier today, 'Bones' shared a clip of 'The Eagle' urging aging fighters to hang up their gloves before it's too late.During a press conference in August, the former undefeated UFC lightweight champion highlighted why it was ideal for fighters to not compete once they turn 35:"When you become 35, you have to stop doing this. Leave this sport for young guys, because when you become 35, and you don't finish, somebody is going to finish you... When you are past your prime, you're going to fight only for money, but you will lose your health. Worry about your health, worry about your life after 40 to 70... Go and work, and make money, like an Uber driver. It's much better than getting slept inside the cage. This is my honest advice for fighters - after 35, 36, do not rush for money and risk losing your health."Check out Khabib Nurmagomedov's comments below: View this post on Instagram Instagram PostWhile Jones is 38 and still fighting, it seems he agrees with Nurmagomedov's assessment. The former two-division champion shared 'The Eagle's' advice on his Instagram story, writing:"Wise words from the champ, make your money young, and don't be afraid to diversify."Check out Jon Jones' response to Khabib Nurmagomedov's advice below:Screenshots courtesy: @jonnybones on InstagramNurmagomedov retired at 32 after his UFC 254 victory over Justin Gaethje, over a promise to his mother to stop fighting after his father's passing. While Jones did announce his retirement from the sport earlier this year, he has since made a complete U-turn for a chance to fight on the UFC White House card. When Khabib Nurmagomedov compared his legacy to Jon Jones'While Khabib Nurmagomedov appears to agree that Jon Jones has a more decorated resume than him as a fighter, he believes the New Yorker falls short when it comes to legacy.During an appearance on Hustle Show, 'The Eagle' pointed to Jones' controversy-ridden career and checkered history with doping as reasons why he views his own legacy as superior:"You can't compare my legacy with Jon Jones. As a fighter, I never had questions for him. Achievements and numbers speak for themselves, but achievement and legacy are different things... Let's say, kids, when they look at you, and they are inspired by you, that's legacy. Jon Jones has always had and will have questions about his behavior and character... There will always be questions about doping, whether he was caught or not."
