McGregor recently marked his return to social media by opening up about seemingly undergoing a spiritual reset. In an X post last month, the Irishman posted a detailed breakdown of his trip to Tijuana, where he underwent trauma-healing treatment that involved a powerful psychoactive drug called Ibogaine.

McGregor also revealed that he had powerful visions of the divine during his "eye-opening" experience. Ahead of his upcoming fight against Tatsuro Taira at UFC 323 this weekend, Moreno reacted to McGregor's Mexican trip and said:

"Man, that was insane... For people that don't know, in that area of Mexico there's a lot of shamans... A lot of shamans, a lot of rituals... I don't know if he did something like that or he did something religious, but welcome to Tijuana. Enjoy. Hopefully, he can enjoy some amazing tacos there because they have the best ones in the country."

When Conor McGregor opened up about his divine encounter during his psychoactive treatment

Conor McGregor recently took to social media and shared his experience undergoing trauma-related psychoactive treatment in Mexico. The former two-division UFC champion claimed he saw divine visions and was shown scenes of his own demise.

In an X post, the Irishman wrote:

"I was blessed to meet the most forward-thinking doctors from Stanford University and undergo a series of treatments to address trauma. I travelled to Tijuana, Mexico and underwent Ibogaine treatment at AMBIO. Watch the @netflix documentary just released titled 'In Waves and War', as it is the exact place I went. It was incredible, intense, and absolutely eye-opening. I was shown what would have been my death. How soon it was to be, and how it would have impacted my children. I was looking down on myself as it happened, and then I was looking out from the coffin."

He added:

"God then came to me in the Holy Trinity. He is MIGHTY! Jesus, his child. Mary, his Mother. The Archangels. All present in heaven, I was shown the light. Jesus descended from the white marble steps of heaven and anointed me with a crown. I was saved! My brain. My heart. My soul. Healed! I was 36 hours under before I finally rested. When I awoke, I was me again. The most enlightening and enchanting experience I have ever undertaken."
