Tempers appear to be flaring at UFC 322, with past rivalries between Islam Makhachev and Dillon Danis' camps seemingly reigniting. As the broadcasting trio of Joe Rogan, Daniel Cormier, and Jon Anik introduced the main card of the pay-per-view, the commentators quickly noticed a melee going down in the stands.Various social media posts since then have shown the Dagestani crew engaging in a scuffle with Dillon Danis and others, with Makhachev's training partner Magomed Zaynukov front and center, laying into the jiu-jitsu maestro's crew. An X post by Red Corner MMA claims that 'El Jefe' was KO'd during the melee.UFC security quickly rushed in to separate the clashing teams, and even Dana White and matchmaker Hunter Campbell had to get involved to bring an end to the chaos.Check out the UFC 322 melee below:This is not the first time Danis has clashed with Makhachev's team. During the UFC 229 fight between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov, it was 'El Jefe's' antics that allegedly prompted 'The Eagle' to jump the octagon and attack the Irishman's team.Danis has in the past claimed that he'd make light work of Makhachev if they were to lock horns in the octagon. The 32-year-old is 3-0 in MMA and was last seen at MF & DAZN X Series 22, where he earned a Round 1 submission win over Warren Spencer to claim the Misfits MMA light heavyweight championship.Makhachev, meanwhile, will be seen in action later tonight in the main event of UFC 322, where he'll face reigning champion Jack Della Maddalena for the welterweight title. A win would see the 34-year-old being crowned as the 11th two-division division in the history of the promotion.
