Khabib nurmagomedov: “Took his money, took his soul” - Ali Abdelaziz tears into Conor McGregor's legacy while praising Khabib Nurmagomedov

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s former manager, Ali Abdelaziz, delivered a scathing take on Conor McGregor’s recent outburst on social media.

The Irishman, Nurmagomedov's bitter rival, slammed ‘The Eagle’ for selling digital papakha hats on Telegram. This led to a back-and-forth between the two UFC legends, which caught the MMA world's attention.

Abdelaziz spoke with Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie and offered his take on the exchange. The manager didn’t hold back and brought up why McGregor would be upset with his former client:

“Conor is a piece of s***. He is just a piece of s***. Honestly, If I was Conor, I would understand. Khabib, he took his fan, took his money, took his soul, took everything away from him. Khabib is so loved and admired by everyone, and Conor McGregor is stinged like, he wants to be loved, and he is not anymore.”

McGregor lost to Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in one of the biggest fights in the promotion’s history. After the defeat, he has constantly taken shots at his rival.

Abdelaziz, in the same interview, added that 'The Eagle' has become an icon for the sport and is meeting “presidents” and “kings” from around the world. Furthermore, he said that many people admire the Dagestani and the former UFC lightweight champion is also making people better each day.

Abdelaziz continued taking shots at McGregor’s legacy and brought up the company the Irishman keeps:

“Conor McGregor is a drug addict, alcoholic, whatever he is. He is a nobody, outside of being a two-time UFC champion. He is a has-been, look at his friends, who are his friends?”

The manager finished off by suggesting that McGregor isn’t the ideal role model for the younger generation and is the complete opposite of Nurmagomedov:

“He is a terrible human being. I don’t want my kids to be like him, you don’t want your kids to be like him, none of us want. I want my kids to be like Khabib, you cannot compare these two. They live on two different status as a human being, there is no comparison. Nobody want to talk about him anymore, Khabib took everything from him.”
