Muay Thai star Aliff Sor Dechapan has successfully turned his ONE Championship campaign around after hittng a rough patch. He has won his last four matches, including a convincing unanimous decision victory over Walter Goncalves of Brazil.
Aliff took on "Iron Hands" at ONE 169 in November last year in a strawweight Muay Thai battle. The contest was highly competitive with both fighters putting up solid performances.
The Malaysian-Thai fighter was crisp with his assaults from long range, allowing him to set up telling combination punches against his opponents. Goncalves, for his part, countered Aliff's attack with solid leg kicks and punches of his own.
In the end, however, it was Aliff Sor Dechapan whose name was declared the winner, with all three judges giving him the nod.

The win over Goncalves was Aliff's second straight after losing back-to-back matches previously. He has since added two more wins to it, knocking out Russian Shamil Adukhov back in February and winning by decision over Moroccan Elmehdi El Jamari in his last fight in June.

ONE Championship's throwback video on Aliff Sor Dechapan is in relation to his scheduled return to action this week, where he seeks to make it five straight victories.
The 21-year-old Team Sor Dechapan standout is going against Lebanese fighter Ramadan Ondash in a strawweight Muay Thai battle at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Dec. 5. It is one of four Muay Thai matches already confirmed for the event, which will take place at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Aliff has been in top form of late, racking up four straight wins to fortify his standing as among the fighters to contend with in the strawweight division of ONE Championship.
Looking to clip his continued ascent is 'The Scorpion' Ondash, himself on an impressive roll, undefetaed in his first four matches since coming on board the 'Home of Martial Arts' in January last year. His latest win was over Thai Chartpayak Saksatoon, who he knocked out in his last match in June.
