Tom Aspinall recently sounded off on fans who think he faked his eye injury at UFC 321 and slammed those who claim he was "milking" the unfortunate incident.
Aspinall faced Ciryl Gane in a heavyweight title fight at UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi in October. While many expected fireworks between the two fighters, the bout unexpectedly ended in the opening round after Gane's eye pokes left Aspinall unable to continue fighting. The referee ultimately ruled the fight a no-contest, and the Englishman held on to the heavyweight championship.
In the aftermath, many accused Aspinall of quitting the fight and trolled the Englishman for the same. Even Dana White addressed the incident at the post-fight presser and made some comments seemingly implying that Aspinall didn't want to continue fighting Gane.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Aspinall slammed his critics:

"I realized, ‘Oh, people genuinely think that I faked this.' And then I was like, 'Did people actually see the replay of what happened because that was a full-on eye poke.' So then I was like, 'What is going on? Why are people thinking I’m faking this after everything I’ve been through to get there?'"
He added:
"Then I come up with a doctor’s report and people are like, 'He’s f*cking crying about it. He’s doing a media tour on it. He’s milking it.' I’m like, 'Bro, if you don’t believe the eye poke and you don’t believe the doctor’s report, what are we doing?'... I’m at the point where you just cannot please these guys. These guys are f**king losers. These guys are just crazy haters who have got nothing good going on in their lives, obviously." [H/t: MMA Fighting]

Tom Aspinall on why he didn't continue fighting Ciryl Gane at UFC 321
Tom Aspinall recently explained not wanting to continue fighting Ciryl Gane at UFC 321 while calling the Frenchman "one of the best strikers in the world."
Aspinall disputed the narrative that he quit the fight prematurely in a video posted to his YouTube channel and said:
“Well, listen, I didn’t continue. I’ll tell you why I didn’t continue. Because I’m not a dummy. Like I’m not going to go out there and fight one of the best strikers in the world if I can’t see with double vision... If you get double eye poked in both eyes and you’ve got no vision because of a foul, why should I carry on?"
