Reigning and undisputed ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion ‘The Warrior’ Christian Lee of Singapore and the United States doesn’t plan on taking things slow against undefeated Turkish fighter Alibeg Rasulov when the two meet in a highly anticipated rematch this weekend.
The 27-year-old Hawaii resident already knows what to expect against his opponent, and he says he’s going to come out guns blazing when the bell rings.
Lee and Rasulov will go to war at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri, which will go down live on Sunday, Nov. 16, from Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, with ‘The Warrior’s' lightweight MMA gold up for grabs.
Speaking to South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Lee said he wanted to continue what he started, and this time complete the job.

‘The Warrior’ stated:
“Going into this fight, I'll be looking to pick up right where I left off. There'll be no need for a feeling out process.”

‘The Warrior’ Christian Lee wants to leave no doubt when he runs it back with Alibeg Rasulov at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri on Nov. 16. He’s looking to end matters early and in exciting fashion.
Lee told ONE Championship:
“I think I’m gonna just take him down and submit him in the first round. I plan on going in there and wasting no time. I see it ending in a few different ways, but if I could just stay straightforward, I think that I’ll take him down, and I’ll submit him within the first five minutes.”
