The two-time Australian Strongest Man took to his official Instagram account (@eddiejowilliams) this past Thursday to congratulate the Mongolian veteran for attaining history on the global stage of ONE Championship.

Williams hopped on a new TikTok trend, which featured a POV of the six-foot-four athlete picking up the five-foot-six warrior just shortly after he hands him the ONE bantamweight MMA world championship.

In the caption, he wrote:

The video's playful tone—Williams dramatically presenting the belt like a royal proclamation—captures the joy surrounding Baatarkhuu's championship coronation.

Williams and Baatarkhuu formed a genuine friendship during Netflix's grueling athletic reality competition series, Physical: Asia, which tested elite athletes across multiple disciplines.

The show documented their journeys, struggles, and mutual respect built through shared challenges that created bonds extending beyond filming.

Dissecting Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu's world title win over Fabricio Andrade

While many had Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu as a heavy underdog against Fabricio Andrade, who was undefeated in MMA under the ONE Championship spotlight, the former came out to prove that he thrives against the world's best athletes.

Like he did to take his country to the final of Netflix's Physical: Asia, which premiered on the global subscription streaming service in October, 'The Tormentor' tapped into his unwavering courage and world-class MMA arsenal to produce one of the most spectacular world title wins inside the Circle.

The 36-year-old survived Andrade's venomous striking weaponry in the opening frame, before implementing his ruthless ground game that troubled the Brazilian fighter.

Though Andrade did attempt to shut down 'The Tormentor' with his stand-up offense in Round 3, Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu hammered the Tiger Muay Thai athlete with a series of ground-and-pound.

When both fighters came back into the ring for the fourth stanza, Andrade looked as if he had his confidence stripped from him. Baatarkhuu was the exact opposite.

The Team Tungaa and Shandas MMA fighter came out aggressive, scored a takedown, and continued his hunt for submissions.

Eventually, he claimed the win with a rear-naked choke at 1:33 of the fourth stanza, making him only the second Mongolian fighter to claim MMA gold in ONE Championship.

Fight fans in the United States and Canada who missed any of the action from ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu can watch the full event replay on Amazon Prime Video.
