Undisputed ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon of Thailand admits he feels quite bad for Superlek’s recent woes.
‘The Kicking Machine’ struggled and dropped a unanimous decision loss to Yuki Yoza at ONE 173 on Nov. 16, the same event where Superbon unified the 155-pound belts against Masaaki Noiri in the main event.
It marked Superlek’s second straight loss, after the pound-for-pound great’s reign of dominance in ONE not too long ago.
The reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion once ruled multiple weight classes and disciplines, beating megastars like Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Jonathan Haggerty, and Takeru Segawa.

Yuki Yoza beaming with confidence after monumental Superlek win
Yuki Yoza is on cloud nine right now. After all, he just beat one of the pound-for-pound best strikers on the planet.
Furthermore, the Japanese striking sensation likely secured a world title shot against ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty after that performance.
The Team Vasileus ward said at the ONE 173 post-event press conference:
"So up until I stepped into this Circle, I kept the mindset that I was the weakest fighter on this planet, but as soon as I stepped in, I switched it up to saying that I'm the best. And going against Superlek, such an amazing opponent, I believed in myself, my team, and everyone who came to support me. Thank you, everybody."
