Three-division Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Suakim Sor Jor Tongprajin of Thailand struggled early against Jake Peacock at ONE 173 on Nov. 16.
But once an opportunity for a comeback opened, the Thai destroyer seized it and finished ‘The One’ with a blistering TKO at 0:26 of the final round inside Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
Before Suakim could unleash that devastating left hook, he had to weather Peacock’s speed and precision in the first two rounds.
According to the 30-year-old veteran, he noticed the British-Canadian showing signs of fatigue, and he adjusted his strategy accordingly.

Seeing Peacock’s guard weakening, Suakim uncorked his trademark power shot to secure the victory.
He recalled his bonus-clinching win during the ONE 173 post-fight interviews:
"Yes, I felt like Jake had lost a lot of power in the third round. And I believe that's what caused him to drop his guard. My left hook was something I'm good at anyway, so I just kept trying and trying until I get the job done."
Suakim extended his active winning streak to six and made a case for a top-five opponent next.
