On November 7, 'The King' will make his promotional debut against dual-sport champion Roman Kryklia of Ukraine for the inaugural ONE heavyweight kickboxing world championship in Bangkok, Thailand.

Kryklia is undoubtedly one of the most feared men in striking, boasting a perfect 7-0 record against elite competition in the home of martial arts.

However, Agdeve carries the confidence of a fighter who’s gone perfect in 17 career bouts, with 12 knockouts to his name.

That said, the 21-year-old phenom believes he has the tools to shock the world and earn 26 pounds of gold. He told ONE Championship in his pre-event interview:

“Roman Kryklia is a good fighter. I respect him. But until now, he hasn’t stood across from someone like me. I think his head area is vulnerable. He’ll be scared of shots to the chin and step back.”

Agdeve is a former SENSHI Heavyweight Grand Prix champion, who vanquished three opponents in one night to capture tournament gold.

While ‘The King’ knows this will be the biggest fight of his career, he’s not letting Kryklia’s reputation scare him from fulfilling his destiny.
