Isaac Dulgarian has reportedly been released by the UFC just hours after his loss at Saturday’s event.
The American was submitted in the first round by Yadier del Valle. However, Dulgarian came into the fight as the favourite and there were some suspicious betting line changes as the fight grew near.
Sourcers told Ariel Helwani that Dulgarian had been released by the UFC owing to the loss. The post on X didn’t add any other information from the UFC but the reporter also brought up the betting links from the fight.

“The official reason was attributed to last night’s loss, however, the bout has been the center of controversy after a ton of money started to come in on Dulgarian, a sizable favorite, to lose in the first, which is what happened.”
Odds favoring Dulgarian dropped significantly ahead of the fight. Even sportsbooks decided to refund bets that had the American winning.
While del Valle came into this bout undefeated, he was the underdog with Dulgarian having more experience.
Michael Chiesa rips into Isaac Dulgarian’s performance
UFC fighter and analyst Michael Chiesa was extremely unhappy with Isaac Dulgarian’s outing at UFC Vegas 110.
Chiesa was speaking after the fight and questioned Dulgarian’s decision making and technique. The UFC star didn’t actually bring up any talks of the betting lines changing.
“You peel the top hand. You don't punch behind you. That is the most useless strike you can possibly throw. I'm sitting here on the pre-show hyping you up as a guy that can go into the top five and win fights, and it doesn't even look like you can fight someone that's in the bottom of the top 500. I've got to be honest here. That was an F- performance. It was absolute trash.”
The American finished off by saying that Dulgarian looked like an amateur in the bout and others deserved to be in the UFC.
