ONE women’s atomweight kickboxing world champion ‘The Queen’ Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom is determined to one day become a two-sport ONE world champion. The 23-year-old Thai phenom says it has always been in her plans.
Phetjeeja will return to action against Polish firecracker Martyna Dominczak in a three-round atomweight Muay Thai fight at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video this weekend.
‘The Queen’ is starting her Muay Thai run by competing in ‘the art of eight limbs’ for the first time in two years. And she’s looking to book her spot to challenge reigning atomweight Muay Thai titleholder Allycia Hellen Rodrigues with a win on Friday.
She told Bangkok Post’s Nick Atkin:

“Yes. If there is an opportunity, of course, I’ll take it. I would love to be a double champ, and the Muay Thai belt has always been my goal since I first joined ONE.”
Phetjeeja added:
“Yeah, I think if I win against Martyna, then I should get a chance for a title shot with Allycia.”

Phetjeeja reflects on big win over Kana Morimoto earlier this year
‘The Queen’ Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom has her sights set on the atomweight Muay Thai belt, but that doesn’t mean she will abandon the kickboxing strap. In fact, the 23-year-old says she is dedicated to keeping that gold over her shoulders.
Phetjeeja last defended the title in March against tough Japanese star Kana Morimoto. She talked to ONE Championship about that victory:
“It was the best feeling. It was a huge relief because fighting Japanese opponents are always tough for me. Their style makes it difficult to fight, they are fast. Plus, you don’t know what kind of game plan they’ll bring. So I was really happy to defend my belt.”
