ONE women's atomweight kickboxing world champion 'The Queen' Phetjeeja has displayed her world-class abilities across two disciplines on the global stage of ONE Championship.

Next, the striking specialist wants to give mixed martial arts a go.

Before she steps inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium to lock horns with fellow former WMC Muay Thai world champion, Poland's Martyna Dominczak, the Team Mehdi Zatout fighter revealed that she's long had her eyes on stepping out of her comfort zone to fight in MMA.

"Yeah. MMA has been on my bucket list. I’ve been quite interested in MMA," the 23-year-old told Nick Atkin.

"But I think my first focus now is to be a double champ, and then maybe we'll see. But I think it’s also quite dangerous [fighting in MMA]."

Phetjeeja, of course, has been wanting in on a chance to become a two-sport world champion inside the Circle.

A victory over Dominczak in their atomweight Muay Thai war should bring her a step closer to a dream fight against divisional queen, Brazilian dynamo Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.

Perhaps, if she can conquer Rodrigues and join other world-class athletes who have tasted two-sport glory under the ONE spotlight, there's every reason to believe that she can go on to become a three-sport world champion just like her Thai compatriot Stamp Fairtex.

Before any talk about the future, however, the 23-year-old is absolutely locked in on claiming a victory over Dominczak this Friday, Dec. 5.

Their clash will be part of ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu, which will be available live in U.S. primetime for free to active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Dominczak eyes win over Phetjeeja to close in on her world title dream

Looking to cancel Phetjeeja's two-sport dream on the global stage is Dominczak, who is fired up to become her country's first martial artist to claim ONE gold.

During her pre-fight interview with the promotion, the 23-year-old Legion Glogow athlete revealed that she intends to use her battle against 'The Queen' as a stepping stone to book a ticket at a world title duel against Rodrigues.

She also shared what it'll mean to her if she ever claims the coveted strap in the future.

“It's really important for me [to claim the belt] because as the first Polish fighter contracted in ONE Championship, it makes me really proud and I want to open the doors for Polish fighters and show that Polish fighters are really strong, that we are giving super exciting fights, and we can be the best. I was the first Polish fighter contracted in ONE, and my plan is to be the first Polish ONE World Champion," she shared.

ONE Fight Night 38 will be the promotion's final American primetime spectacle of 2025. The spectacle, which features MMA, Muay Thai, and submission grappling action, takes place inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
