But the 23-year-old Thai striking icon says she was surprised Polish opponent Martyna Dominczak offered little to no resistance.

Phetjeeja made quick and seemingly easy work of Dominczak at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video last weekend at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, sending the Polish star to the canvas three times in the first round to take home the technical knockout victory.

Even ‘The Queen’ was shocked at how fast the fight ended. She told Bangkok Post’s Nick Atkin:

“First time. I’m feeling happy. I’m very happy today. I fought [and] I got a knockout. So, I’m very happy and my team is very very happy. I didn’t expect it would be this quick.”

Needless to say, it was another explosive finish that fans have grown accustomed to seeing from ‘The Queen’ Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom.

While the fight ended quite quickly and Dominczak could have performed a little better, Phetjeeja ending her night early was hardly a surprise.

She gave credit to her team and spoke of the experience:

“I find the whole Venum training camp has really great teamwork, so not only Mehdi, but also my coach and also other athletes who have become my sparring partners. There are a lot of foreign athletes who have taught me how to do unorthodox moves and also other moves that maybe I wasn't so familiar with, and also maybe helped me plan, the coach helped me plan. So there was great teamwork, everybody has played such a big role in my victory. So I would like to thank every one of them.”
