The first-ever ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion will be crowned at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri, once the dust settles between these two elite strikers on Nov. 16 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.

A 10-time Muay Thai world champion and the only non-Thai to hold the Rajadamnern Stadium and Lumpinee Stadium world titles, Nadaka was expected by most pundits to earn this massive opportunity.

The 24-year-old speedster did so after showcasing his dazzling striking on the global stage, going 3-0 against formidable foes in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

However, Numsurin came out of nowhere and went 6-0 at ONE Friday Fights, capped off by a massive upset over Nadaka’s rival Songchainoi Kiatsongrit.

In his pre-event interview with ONE Championship, Nadaka spoke about the Thai underdog’s impressive rise:

“Numsurin obviously boasts high-level mastery of Muay Thai fundamentals, which is why he keeps winning. But beyond that, I think he possesses boxing techniques that other Thai fighters don’t have.”

While acknowledging Numsurin as a worthy adversary, Nadaka won’t let this stop him from doing all he can to add the biggest prize to his trophy case at ONE 173.

Nadaka takes great pride in his well-rounded abilities

While Nadaka's speed, timing, and finishing power make him special, there's one trait that practically makes him unbeatable.

The 24-year-old is well-versed in all aspects of 'The Art of Eight Limbs' and doesn't have a weakness in his offensive arsenal.

The Eiwa Gym Sports representative told ONE:

“My ideal fighting style is one where I can do everything – kicks, punches, clinching, elbows, knees, anything. That’s my ultimate goal for my fighting style. Now, I’m incorporating boxing training thoroughly to [complete my arsenal]."
