Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side, and Lito Adiwang fearlessly moved out of his comfort zone in a bid to reignite his career.

Judging by the result of his first fight in the flyweight MMA division, 'Thunder Kid' certainly made the right choice.

Adiwang got back on the winning column at ONE Fight Night 37: Kryklia vs. Agdeve on Prime Video on Nov. 7 in Bangkok, Thailand.

After his up-and-down tenure in the strawweight ranks, Adiwang knew it was time for a change and moved up to 135 pounds. It meant going up against bigger and meaner opposition, but the 32-year-old veteran was up for the task.

Adiwang was tested right away, getting paired with Mauro 'Dinamita' Mastromarini, who was coming down from the bantamweight MMA division. The size difference was evident when they sized each other up in the ring. But as soon as the bell rang, thunder struck.

Adiwang, who visibly packed more muscle at flyweight, shot out of a cannon and uncorked his signature punches in bunches. The devilish speed was still there, but more importantly, his crushing power seemed amplified.

After getting tagged in the first few exchanges, Mastromarini wanted no part of it and tried to turn it into a grappling war. 'Dinamita' landed some offense from the clinch with knees and short body punches.

But the Filipino came prepared, showcasing a refined grappling defense to make sure the fight stayed on the feet.

Adiwang made it clear who the superior striker was, as he floated like a butterfly, bobbing and weaving while landing haymakers to the body and head.

His confidence grew with each strike landing, as he methodically stalked his prey while flashing a big smile on his face. 'Thunder Kid' was once again enjoying himself and was more dangerous than ever.

Sensing his opponent getting more desperate, Adiwang launched head-on and uncorked a missile-like left hook that detonated on the Argentine's chin.

Mastromarini fell and immediately covered up, but the Filipino warrior swarmed to finish his prey, landing merciless ground and pound to get the job done.

Adiwang is going to be a problem, and the flyweight MMA division must watch out.
