ONE Championship's recent Japan card was electric from start to finish

ONE Championship's second outing in Japan this year, ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri, lived up to all the hype in Tokyo on November 16.

The 16-fight card, which featured kickboxing, submission grappling, Muay Thai, and MMA action, was topped by four insane world title brawls that produced two five-round striking clinics and a pair of highlight-reel wins.

In the main event of ONE 173, Superbon unified the ONE featherweight kickboxing world title with a five-round beatdown of interim champ Masaaki Noiri. The 35-year-old emerged victorious via unanimous decision.

Meanwhile, Japanese Muay Thai superstar Nadaka extended his six-year win streak to 40 in a row with a striking masterclass over Thai slugger Numsurin Chor Ketwina. At the same time, the Eiwa Sports Gym athlete left Tokyo as the inaugural ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion.

In the pair of MMA world title duels at ONE 173, Yuya Wakamatsu finished strawweight king Joshua Pacio to defend his flyweight world title for the first time.

Meanwhile, Christian Lee did what he does best as he bagged a TKO win against undefeated Turkish star Alibeg Rasulov in the second round of their ONE lightweight MMA world title rematch.

Lee and Wakamatsu pocketed a US$50,000 performance bonus each for their highlight-reel triumphs last Sunday.
