Undisputed ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane of Thailand once claimed he would bravely conquer multiple weight classes across two disciplines.

That idea no longer seems so far-fetched, after a sensational featherweight debut at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri.

Anane continued his relentless march toward multi-divisional glory, dismantling promotional newcomer Hiromi 'The Purple Comet' Wajima via unanimous decision last Sunday, November 16, at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.

Using every inch of his massive 6-foot-4 frame, Anane battered the flashy Japanese striker from a distance with brutish kicks and walloping punches.

Wajime put up a great fight, using the signature calf kicks that Japanese fighters are known for.

He was also able to bridge the gap in the final round and get to Anane up close.

However, the Team Mehdi Zatout prodigy was not only prepared, he was also well-equipped for a phonebooth battle.

The Thai-Algerian phenom unleashed a wave of punching combinations upstairs.

Those shots not only carried devastating power but also speed and precision that were too much to handle for Wajima.

Official result: Nabil Anane defeats Hiromi Wajima via unanimous decision

Following that dominating performance, Nabil Anane has now proven that his sublime talent truly transcends multiple weight classes and disciplines.

Hiromi Wajime also possessed quite an intimidating physical frame, standing at 5-foot-11 with great reach.

But even against a credential foe close to his towering stature, Anane still dictated the fight with surgical precision against a former K1 world champion.

Things got even more interesting post-fight when he called out his original opponent, Jonathan Haggerty, who bowed out due to an injury.

Following his performance under kickboxing rules, he hopes their rescheduled bout will take place under the same ruleset with 'The General's bantamweight kickboxing belt on the line.

And if Anane decides to make a permanent move to 155 pounds, there are so many blockbuster match-ups that await him. Superbon, Tawanchai PK Saenchai, Masaaki Noiri, and Marat Grigorian, the list goes on.
