Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou has had his say on the Jon Jones vs. Alex Pereira rumored super fight.

Ngannou, who is now the PFL Super Fights Heavyweight Champion, knows a thing or two about wanting to fight Jones.

Tom Aspinall, the current UFC Heavyweight Champion, had spoken about how Jones had “ducked” Ngannou when the latter was in the UFC.

Jones also seemed to avoid fighting Aspinall, with ‘Bones’ choosing to fight Stipe Miocic before retiring from competition. However, ‘Bones’ seems keen on returning to action, and Alex Pereira could be his target for the UFC White House event.

Ngannou spoke with TMZ Sports and was asked which fight is bigger: Jon Jones vs. Alex Pereira or Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou.

“You know the answer, you don’t need me for that,” replied Ngannou.

When the former UFC star was pressed for a definite take, he claimed that his fight would always be bigger:

“Biggest fight of all time can only happen with Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou…no disrespect to other fighters, I respect all the fight and all the fighters, regardless of if they fight on the main card or prelim, whatever or wherever, great fights happen everywhere, I became a world champion at the Apex.”

Ngannou also admitted that the fight would be the biggest only if it were held at the White House.

Francis Ngannou shuts down any hopes of his UFC return

While Francis Ngannou vs. Jon Jones would indeed be a massive fight for the White House event, the chances of the former UFC champion returning to the promotion are slim to none.

Rumors were doing the rounds earlier in the year about Ngannou’s return. However, Dana White took a shot at ‘The Predator’ while speaking after the UFC Baku event.

White claimed that he was not a fan of Ngannou, and it would be a big surprise if he did come back. Not one to stay quiet, Ngannou also took a shot at his former promotion and posted a comeback on X:

"Did I say I'm ever coming back? 🤔"
