Mongolian martial arts icon Narantungalag Jadambaa has watched Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu overcome countless challenges throughout his journey, but one performance stands above the rest.
The former ONE featherweight MMA world champion serves as mentor and coach to his fellow countryman, who challenges Fabricio Andrade for the ONE bantamweight MMA world title at ONE Fight Night 38 on Friday, Dec. 5, inside Bangkok's legendary Lumpinee Stadium.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Jadambaa revealed which moment from the No.4-ranked bantamweight MMA contender's career fills him with the most pride.
"The moment I'm most proud of is when he won his match against Sangiao and earned a US$50,000 bonus. The opponent was a strong guy, and he was undefeated at the time," Jadambaa shared.

Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu "thrilled" for chance to headline ONE Fight Night 38
Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu is pumped for the chance to collide against Fabricio Andrade at ONE Fight Night 38, a battle which will mark the first time the 36-year-old Mongolian headlines a fight card under the ONE Championship banner.
The bantamweight MMA contender shared nothing but gratitude during a separate interview with ONE Championship, thanking the world's largest martial arts organization for presenting him with his career-defining opportunity.
"I'm equally thrilled to have the opportunity to demonstrate my skills in such a major league. I'm sincerely grateful for the recognition of my skills and for [ONE] for giving me the chance to fight in the main event," he told the promotion.
The Road to ONE: Mongolian tournament winner in 2022 has come a long way since his promotional debut, racking up a total of six triumphs under the ONE banner in seven fights.
Apart from his submission win over Sangiao, which earned him a US$50,000 performance bonus, his list of triumphs include a TKO of Rockie Bactol, a pair of decision wins over Adonis Sevilleno and Jeremy Pacatiw, and two tapout victories against Aaron Canarte and Carlo Bumina-ang.
Will Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu's world-class grappling game trouble Andrade, or will the defending ONE bantamweight MMA world champion show his class again and remind the watching world why he sits atop the throne?
