Khamzat Chimaev is currently on a hiatus from MMA. However, it appears that when he returns to the sport, he might have a Russian tech billionaire cornering him.
Earlier today, in a post on X, Chimaev invited Telegram founder Pavel Durov to corner him for his next fight:

'Borz', however, is currently out of action and is scheduled to undergo surgery on his leg, and will be sidelined until March, when Ramadan ends.
This means he wouldn't resume full training until late March. Chimaev has expressed interest in the UFC White House card. If he gets his wish, his comeback would be pushed to June.
'Borz' recently named Nassourdine Imavov as the next potential challenger for the middleweight strap. However, the Chechen-born Emirati has also been pushing for a superfight against light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.
Given that Chimaev is not the only MMA star to have extended an enticing offer to Durov, it looks like the Telegram CEO is poised to become the next billionaire businessman to win the favor of the MMA world after Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk.
Earlier in November, Khabib Nurmagomedov invited the 41-year-old to train with him in Dagestan. 'The Eagle' also reportedly raised over $4 million selling digital Papakha hat collectibles through a recent Telegram drop.
While 'Borz' and Team Khabib have had a scuffle in the past, Chimaev recently tried to bury the hatchet.

Khamzat Chimaev had a famous scuffle with Team Khabib at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi, especially getting into a physical altercation with 'The Eagle's' cousin Abubakar Nurmagomedov.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov quickly intervened and brokered peace between the two camps. Chimaev recently reinforced their once-fractured relationship with a heartwarming social media post.
After Islam Makhachev's two-division championship glory at UFC 322, Chimaev wrote:
