Former multi-time K-1 champion ‘Krusher Queen’ Kana Morimoto of Japan has loads of respect for former three-sport queen Stamp Fairtex of Thailand. It’s no secret the Japanese veteran has looked up to Stamp, who for years has been the face of ONE Championship’s women’s divisions.
This is perhaps why Kana was caught off-guard when Stamp stepped right up to her grill in the ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri pre-event press conference last month.
‘Krusher Queen’ told South China Morning Post (SCMP) in a pre-fight interview:
“Actually, I didn't expect this one because Stamp was focusing on MMA.”

“I was actually very surprised that Stamp was kind of aggressive during the face-off.”

Kana Morimoto expects best version of Stamp Fairtex at ONE 173
Despite Stamp Fairtex coming back from a two-year layoff due to injury, ‘Krusher Queen’ Kana Morimoto fully expects the Thai megastar at a hundred percent and in her best form at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri on Nov. 16.
Kana told SCMP MMA:
“Since both of us agreed to do this kickboxing rules means Stamp should have some sort of confidence, and she will be ready for this fight. So I'm very excited.”
She concluded:
“Well, I'm very good right now. This fight against Stamp would be a comeback fight for both of us. I'm very excited for that.”
