U.S. President Donald Trump attracted a lot of attention with his comments on next year’s UFC White House card.

Trump claimed that "eight or nine" title fights would be on the card. That would make it the biggest UFC card ever. The U.S. president also claimed that Dana White was holding back fights for the extravaganza.

Those comments were ridiculed by some sections of the MMA community. Joe Rogan also gave his take on this while speaking to UFC star Brendan Allen on the latest episode of his podcast.

Rogan, who is one of the biggest podcasters out there and does UFC commentary on pay-per-views, didn’t believe that was possible:

“First of all, there are only eight weight classes. So how is there going to be nine title fights?”

Rogan then imitated Trump by claiming they would do all title fights, maybe 20 of them. He then claimed that one fighter that White cannot count on should be on the card:

“Well, if they don’t do Jon Jones at the White House it’s going to be a travesty. Dana's like, ‘You can’t count on him,’ you can f****** count on him, come on, stop.”

White is upset that Jones declined to fight UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall despite signing a deal, and isn’t certain he'll add him to the White House card.

Jon Jones ready to sacrifice top spot for White House fight

Jon Jones is one of the biggest names in MMA history and has been part of the UFC main event in each of his appearances for the last 15 years.

However, given his situation, ‘Bones’ is ready to compromise if he gets to fight current UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira at the White House. A fan asked him on X if he's all right with not fighting for a title or even being the main event against Pereira, and Jones responded with a resounding yes.

The last time Jones didn’t feature in the main event of a UFC card was against Ryan Bader in 2011.
