Jake Paul recently dropped a bold promo for his upcoming boxing match against Anthony Joshua and vowed to make light work of the former world heavyweight champion.

Paul and Joshua are set to throw down in a heavyweight boxing match on Dec.19 in Miami. 'The Problem Child' was initially booked for an exhibition fight against Gervonta Davis, but the latter's latest legal troubles involving his former partner forced the promoters to call off the event. While Joshua is a considerably bigger opponent than Davis, it appears Paul is confident about getting his hand raised.

In a recent video uploaded to his socials, Paul vowed to "knock out, defeat, and embarrass" Joshua in their showdown next month and said:

"Make no mistake, this is the biggest fight of my career. I’m walking into the lion’s den. I’m doing something that no one else has ever done before. I, Jake Joseph Paul, will knock out, defeat, and embarrass Anthony Joshua on Friday, Dec. 19, live on Netflix... The biggest fight of 2025. USA vs. the UK. He's got the belts, the size, the history, but I have the b*lls. Be careful what you wish for. Jake vs. Joshua, judgment day."

Jake Paul admits to being "a little scared" ahead of Anthony Joshua fight

While Jake Paul has undoubtedly made his mark in the boxing world, it appears the thought of facing someone like Anthony Joshua still scares him a little bit. Paul has a professional boxing record of 12-1 and has defeated high-profile combat sports personalities like Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Mike Perry, Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Mike Tyson.

On the other hand, Joshua is a former two-time heavyweight world champion and an Olympic gold medalist. He has a record of 28-4, with 25 of those wins coming via knockout. He has recorded wins over Alexander Povetkin, Wladimir Klitschko, Andy Ruiz Jr., Otto Wallin, and Francis Ngannou.

In a YouTube video, Paul previewed Joshua's resume and admitted to being afraid of his power:

"Two-time heavyweight champion of the world. An Olympic gold medalist. While he was winning Olympic gold, I was filming Vines in high school. A.J. is a knockout artist with fights that have literally ended in seconds. I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little scared." [H/t: MMA Fighting]
