Apart from sharpening his lethal striking at his home gym, Tiger Muay Thai, in Phuket, Andrade made sure to immerse himself in new experiences.

Speaking to Nick Atkin in his pre-event interview, Andrade recalled his visit:

“Yes, man. Just to be around a gym that got gym of the year—they're doing very well. To be around them and see what they're doing different, and everybody was very receptive. They treated me very well.”

The 28-year-old superstar added:

“They tried to help me, to add things to my arsenal and it was a very unique experience. I really look forward to coming back there. But I would say from my last fight against Kwon to this fight, I am a different fighter. I have so many new things that I can do.”

'Wonder Boy told Nick Atkin in the same interview:

"He's definitely going to use his grappling game, and I'm excited to see what he brings. I'm excited to also show that I can stop his takedowns and on the striking, I'm going to try to finish him in every blow that I throw.”

The bantamweight title showdown headlines ONE Fight Night 38 from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, airing live in U.S. primetime on Prime Video for North American audiences.
