Zaynukov is yet to fight in the UFC and Makhachev was asked to share some advice for the rising star. The UFC welterweight champion told Zaynukov, AKA ‘Chanko’, to stay grounded and work hard. He also told him not to get distracted by the fame he has received in such a short span of time:

"It will be a big mistake to follow this kind of hype. ‘Chanko’ hasn’t got enough experience to handle all this publicity and recognition. It’s really hard. It’s a mistake to chase it all, and it can play a dirty trick in terms of your future career. ‘Chanko’ needs to work hard in the gym, and as for media recognition, it will come on its own. So all that’s needed is focus.”

Makhachev also spoke about his road to success and added that he had already done the grind and it was time for ‘Chanko’ to do the same:

“I have already graduated from the university. I beat this game but 'Chanko' has just started going to school, so he needs to finish school, enter university, it’s a long way ahead of him.”

Magomed Zaynukov explains why he beat up Dillon Danis

Magomed Zaynukov caught the limelight at UFC 322 with the brawl that took place in the seating area before the start of the main card.

The Russian was seen beating up Dillon Danis, but he was part of a group that attacked the American.

Zaynukov provided his side of the story and shared why he attacked Danis. The Russian spoke about UFC 322 and claimed the American should have been beaten up a lot more:

"I think it was not enough. He should've got more. In terms of what he's done, it's not much. That type of thing can't be forgiven. You have to be responsible for that. That's our way of life. If you said something, you have got to be responsible for your words. As for him, I have no clue what their way of life is here. They say anything they want. They can insult someone's family, and it means nothing to them. But for us, every single word has meaning, and you have to be accountable for it."
