Reigning ONE strawweight MMA world champion ‘The Passion’ Joshua Pacio of the Philippines has given a lot of credit to his nutritionist for a very smooth transition to flyweight.
Pacio recently hired Pete Miller of Condition Nutrition, a specialist who has helped countless ONE Championship athletes manager their weight and hydration for big fights, including fighters like ‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon and ‘The Kicking Machine’ Superlek Kiatmoo9.
Pacio is getting ready to challenge Japanese firecracker ‘Little Piranha’ Yuya Wakamatsu for the ONE flyweight MMA world title this weekend, and he wanted to make sure Miller was on board in this training camp to make his debut at a higher weight class a successful one.

Speaking to South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Pacio talked about how much of an impact Miller has had on his career.

‘The Passion’ stated:
“Since I've been part of his team, it's been a very big factor—not just getting the weight or passing hydration—but of course, I can see it in my performance. The energy, the strength, it's different when you eat healthy and eat the proper food for your training camp. So, it's either strawweight or flyweight. I can do both.”
