Former ONE world title challenger ‘King of the North’ Nico Carrillo proved his dedication to his craft by moving halfway across the world from his home in Scotland to Thailand, where he now lives with his family and trains full-time.

“Six weeks out now so we’ll start really hitting the doubles hard and stuff now. Routine just training in the morning either running, strength and conditioning then Muay Thai at night. Bangtao is just an amazing place. Every time I’m here it just feels at home now. I’m making it at home now this time but it does feel like I settled in so quick and everybody at Bangtao was just so nice and we’ve got so many amazing trainers as well.”
Carrillo is absolutely unstoppable when he’s on point, and he will be looking to make a statement when he returns to the world’s largest martial arts organization.
