Land Rover is a luxury automobile line currently operating under the Indian manufacturer Tata's JLR umbrella. The company offers multiple Defender variants ranging from $58,750 to $169,950.

True to form, the Dagestani made sure to note his gratitude for the kind gesture on his Instagram story. Makhachev shared ABD's post, writing:

"After the fight, when I returned to Dubai, I received such an unexpected and very pleasant gift from my brothers. BarakAllah! May the almighty reward you greatly." [Translated from Russian to English via Google Translate.]

UFC icon shares his take on Islam Makhachev vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov legacy debate

With their legacies tied together through the legendary Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, many still wonder whether Islam Makhachev has truly stepped out of Khabib Nurmagomedov's shadow. A former interim lightweight champion is convinced those comparisons no longer hold any weight.

Tony Ferguson believes Makhachev doesn't concern himself with surpassing 'The Eagle' and is his own fighter. During a recent interview with Helen Yee, Ferguson said:

"Well, I think when Khabib's dad was there, I think [Makhachev] was in the shadows, not wanting to pass him just because out of respect when it goes into like your teacher and your coaches and certain things like that. I think when everything was all said and done, and Khabib retired and the family things and so on so forth that he finally had his time to shine. I think he's his own athlete. I don't think he really concerns himself about Khabib or anything else." [2:40 minutes into the interview]
