The Thai striking megastar is back in action in a featherweight kickboxing tiff against Liu Mengyang, a three-round contest that will headline ONE Friday Fights 137 inside Bangkok's legendary Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, December 19.

Ahead of their showdown, the 26-year-old PK Saenchai Muaythaigym striker told members of the media during a press conference in Thailand that his eyes are already locked on a sequel against the Japanese slugger Masaaki Noiri, who knocked him out during their ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title tiff at ONE 172 inside the Saitama Super Arena this past March.

"After fighting Liu Mengyang, has Masaaki recovered yet? If he's still injured, I'm ready to face anyone in the kickboxing ruleset. I want to showcase my full potential more than I did last time because I received a lot of criticism from my fans," Tawanchai declared.

That desire for redemption burns after suffering his first knockout loss on ONE's global stage.

The PK Saenchai representative appeared to be on his way to another dominant win, but the Japanese striker turned the tide in round two and finished him in the stanza that followed.

That marked Tawanchai's last appearance inside the Circle. Noiri, meanwhile, suffered a unanimous decision loss to Superbon in their world title unification matchup at ONE 173 last month.

Tawanchai says he 'made a mistake' in loss to Noiri, wants rematch in Thailand

In the same exchange with Thai media, Tawanchai conceded that his defeat to Masaaki Noiri was down to an error on his end.

However, the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion declared that he's learned from that defeat, and would love to run it back against the Team Vasileus man in Thailand.

"I have to admit I made a mistake that day [during that defeat to Masaaki Noiri], and he also came prepared. I'm ready to fight Masaaki anywhere, but I'd like him to come fight in Thailand sometime," he continued.

Before any talk about a rematch with Noiri, though, the PK Saenchai wizard will first have to shift his attention to Chinese kickboxing star Liu Mengyang. A victory over the latter should play an important role in his bid to run it back against Noiri.

ONE Friday Fights 137 will be available to fight fans live in Asia primetime on ONE Championship's official YouTube channel, the ONE Super App, and watch.onefc.com. Geo-restrictions may apply.
