Newly crowned undisputed ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon of Thailand still wants to capture Muay Thai gold.

The 35-year-old Thai veteran made this clear after dismantling Masaaki Noiri across five punishing rounds in the main event of ONE 173 in Tokyo last November 16.

Superbon put on an absolute striking mastery from start to finish, peppering the Japanese star with crippling kicks and unloading heavy punch combinations when Noiri got too close.

Speaking during the ONE 173 post-fight interviews, the undisputed king talked about what’s next for his legendary career.

The Superbon Training Camp founder said he plans to continue defending his kickboxing crown and make a run for the 155-pound Muay Thai belt.

"I'm 35, but I hope to be here longer. Five years, 10 years, and of course, I'm looking into Muay Thai always, I want to be that champion, the Muay Thai belt, and I got to come back."

Superbon added:

“I got to fight everyone in kickboxing, nevermind who[ever] is gonna stand here, I'm gonna fight him. If I beat everyone here, I'm gonna go back to Muay Thai."

Superbon had two unsuccessful attempts to dethrone reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai kingpin Tawanchai PK Saenchai.

By the looks of it, he’s not giving up on that conquest and wants to clear out the kickboxing division before returning to his roots.

Superbon says he expected tough fight against Masaaki Noiri

Superbon cemented his status as the best 155-pound striker in the world at ONE 173, but it didn't come easy.

Masaaki Noiri was outgunned, but he stayed in the fight and remained dangerous as long as there was time left on the clock.

That said, the Thai superstar knew he couldn't afford any lapses and stayed locked in.

Superbon said in his in-Circle interview:

"Nothing really surprised me because I know how durable he is. I know that he could take my shot. This is his style, to be this durable."
