ONE women's atomweight kickboxing world champion Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom of Thailand sees Martyna Dominczak as a formidable and worthy opponent for her return to Muay Thai.
‘The Queen’ will figure in a pivotal three-round atomweight Muay Thai showdown with the Polish heavy-hitter this Friday, Dec. 5, at ONE Fight Night 38 on Prime Video.
Phetjeeja has faced and beaten some of the best female fighters in the world, an impressive list that includes Anissa Meksen, Janet Todd, and Kana Morimoto.
Even with an astonishing 209 career wins to her name, the 23-year-old Thai superstar still holds high respect for her opponents, especially a dangerous foe like Dominczak.

The Legion Glogow affiliate has gone 3-1 in the promotion and has looked sensational since making the move top atomweight.
That said, Phetjeeja won’t make the mistake of underestimating Dominczak, despite her being the underdog in this showdown.
The Team Mehdi Zatout affiliate shared in her pre-event interview with Nick Atkin:
“Yes. I think she’s impressive. I think she gained more speed, and she has really good punch combos — like she can throw eight to ten punches at a time, which is amazing. And I think she has a very aggressive style. She just goes in, goes forward. I think she’s impressive.”

Phetjeeja still ready to defend her atomweight kickboxing belt
Phetjeeja might be venturing into Muay Thai to chase two-sport supremacy, but she's not forgetting her responsibilities.
The atomweight kickboxing queen made it clear she's ready to defend her throne when another challenger emerges.
“I don't have anyone on my hit list now, and I also can't see anyone coming forward, but I am ready to defend my title, and I would love to defend my titles as many times as possible because I would love to be active. So the more active I am, the better it is. So please join the kickboxing ranking,” she said in the same interview.
