ONE women's atomweight kickboxing world champion 'The Queen' Phetjeeja believes Stamp Fairtex's recent comeback fight is a stepping stone to greater things.

After battling a recurring knee injury over the past two years, the organization's only former three-sport ONE world champion returned to action last month against Kana Morimoto on the organization's stacked ONE 173 card in Tokyo, Japan.

While Stamp did have her moments throughout that entertaining three-round atomweight kickboxing tiff, the former K-1 champion's solid tactical plan, sharp counters, and volume of attacks allowed her to stun the Thai megastar inside the Ariake Arena.

Phetjeeja, whose perfect 7-0 promotional run includes a world title win over Kana, knows more than anyone of the qualities that make 'Krusher Queen' absolutely dangerous.

That said, the Team Mehdi Zatout warrior believes Stamp's courage and grit in returning to action after being mentally and physically drained by her injury deserve praise.

"I understand Stamp. I sympathize with her. Kana is a very quick fighter. She has amazing speed. Even for me, I did not fight for one year without injury. It was hard for me to dominate the cage, the ring. But the first time she was out due to injuries and took time for physiotherapy. So it was more difficult for her," Phetjeeja told Nick Atkin in an online interview earlier this week.

"But I saw a lot of moments where she tried to fight back. I think she was having a lot of moments that she could think of what to do but she couldn’t do it. So yeah, I totally understand how she feels."

That said, Phetjeeja expects the three-sport megastar to use that clash as a blueprint to return to the very best of her abilities in 2026.

"I believe that she could definitely come back and could definitely do better and better in her next fights," she continued in the same interview.

Many are eager to see how 'The Queen' will fare in this Art of Eight Limbs clash as her last three fights all came in kickboxing world title battles.

Phetjeeja, for her part, is determined to silence any doubts about her ability to switch back to competing in Muay Thai rules.

“This fight is extremely important because it’s my first Muay Thai fight in two years. Many fans are probably waiting to see my performance. I will try my best to defeat Martyna in the best possible form," she told Atkin.
