Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira envisions a road back to title contention after his next fight.The Brazilian faces Max Holloway for the symbolic BMF title at UFC 326. Ilia Topuria, the current lightweight champion, is on hiatus dealing with personal issues.The UFC has set up an interim 155-pound title fight between Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje. While some believe the winner of this fight will get a crack at Topuria for the undisputed gold, Oliveira has other plans.The Brazilian was speaking to Ag Fight and said:“Two months later, I am fighting for the BMF title… I think with all due respect, I sell much more than the two who are going to fight for the title. I have much more charisma than the two who are going to fight for the belt. So, whether you like it or not, I am already stepping in strong on the edge of that conversation.”Oliveira added that Arman Tsarukyan should have been the one getting a title shot, interim or undisputed, but he didn’t know why the UFC turned the Armenian down.
