I knew [Daiki Yonekura] was a good opponent, so I still prepared myself for this, you know, I'm so tired here because I gave him my all to get this title. So that's what made it better," the Melqui Galvao product shared.The two-time ADCC world champion brought his aggressive mount game to unsettle the Tokushima native, who was happy to let Diogo Reis hunt for openings from guard.It was all gas and no brakes throughout the tie, and in the final stretch, both warriors were tied up in a scramble, looking for leg entanglements while forcing one or the other to give an inch.Neither Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, however, showed any cracks.
