Dana White was the latest guest on the FLAGRANT podcast, and one of the episode's biggest talking points was the UFC White House event.
The event is part of the America250 celebrations and will be the first UFC card to be held at the White House.
Several big names have thrown their names into the hat to be on the card. Jon Jones and Conor McGregor are two stars who are eager to fight in front of U.S. President Donald Trump.
White was questioned about Jon Jones featuring on the card, but the UFC president wasn’t completely sure about this.

White reminded viewers of Jones skipping the fight against Tom Aspinall:
“I haven’t said yes or no to anybody yet, but I can’t put Jon Jones in a position where he can… I had a deal with him to fight Tom Aspinall, we had a deal and he said, ‘I am not going to do it.’”
He then highlighted McGregor’s professionalism and how the Irishman was always willing to save a card even on short notice:
“I can’t be in that position. People talk sh** about McGregor. McGregor, when you walk into that room, three days out from the fight, your opponent fell out... [McGregor will be like] 'Just let me know who I’ll fight.' You say whatever you want about Conor. Conor’s been that guy.”

Dana White plans on putting up best possible UFC White House card
Dana White also claimed on the podcast that his plan was to put on a show that the fans wanted to see. The UFC CEO was keen to bring the best to the White House event, and he provided a glimpse of his plans during the UFC 322 post-event press conference.
White said that the plan was not to have an America vs. the rest of the world card.
“Yeah, it’s not America vs. the world. [It's about] what’s the best card we can build.”
One name that impressed at UFC 322 was Islam Makhachev. The Russian defeated Jack Della Maddalena and became the new welterweight champion.
White suggested that Makhachev could be on the card while also lauding the Russian as one of the best ever.
“We are talking about him possibly, GOAT talk here, depending on what he does in his next couple of fights. So, it’s a possibility.”
