Fabricio Andrade won't let anything come in his way of going down as the greatest bantamweight MMA world champion in ONE Championship.
The Brazilian knockout machine has racked up an undefeated run in the discipline on the global stage since debuting with a second-round submission win against Mark Abelardo.
He has once stepped outside the MMA realm to collide against Jonathan Haggerty for the then-vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title. During a recent interview with Nick Atkin, however, he shared why he wouldn't be chasing two-sport glory anytime soon.
"MMA is my focus right now. I want to stay straight in MMA and keep building my record, defending the belt. We got Bibiano Fernandes, who defended the belt like 10 times. He set the record very high, and I need to work very hard to beat him," the 28-year-old shared.
