“The training system at [Team Mehdi Zatout] is what I was used to and what I trained in the most. So I decided to come back here and train fully.”

Phetjeeja added:

“Honestly, I missed this place. It’s where I started, where we fought together, where we struggled together, and where I became a champion. I feel that way about this place.”

Dominczak told ONE Championship that she plans on using Phetjeeja’s weaknesses against her. She said:

“I go forward in my fights, but also, I can [play counterstriker as well] as I showed with Yu Yau Pui. My style is also not just the typical Thai style, not just typical kickboxing, but a mix of everything. So I think she will have a problem with me also. We saw a few weaknesses in her style and I want to use them and show that I can beat her.”
