Jake Paul recently shared a bold prediction for his upcoming fight against Anthony Joshua and expressed confidence in his chances against the former two-time unified world heavyweight champion.
While Paul was initially scheduled for an exhibition fight against Gervonta Davis this month, the WBA lightweight champion's recent legal troubles forced the promoters to scrap the bout. Later, Joshua was confirmed as Davis' replacement after Francis Ngannou turned down the offer. Paul is now set to face Joshua on Dec.19 at the Kaseya Center in Miami in a professional heavyweight bout.
Given the size difference between the two, many expect Joshua to breeze past Paul and pick up an easy win. However, it appears Paul is confident about his skills and speed. In an interview with The Schmo, Paul claimed he beat Joshua at 'Laser Tag' thanks to his speed and said:

"Man, speed. You know, I beat him in laser tag when we first met in Dubai. He didn’t see me coming. I was popping around the corners, shooting him nonstop, eliminating him multiple times. That’s because I’m tricky. I’m sneaky, and I’m fast. It’s going to be a long night for him. Long night. Long night."

Anthony Joshua clarifies his mindset ahead of Jake Paul boxing match
Anthony Joshua isn't taking Jake Paul lightly. The Englishman recently opened up about his mindset ahead of his next fight and explained how he's focused on believing in his own abilities.
In an interview (via MMA Junkie), Joshua claimed that he's "stood the test of time" and stated:
"I don't want to focus on it being about Jake, 'Oh, Jake is small, so that makes me confident. Jake is this, so that makes me confident.' I just focused on myself. I'm confident in myself. He could be 10 feet, and I'm confident in myself. It's not about how he is. I've got a good tea. I've been through ups and downs. I've stood the test of time. I'm passionate. I'm hungry, and I'm here to fight my heart out. I'm confident."
